After you perform a client copy on a BW source system, the partner profiles either do not exist or are incorrect. The client may have an incorrect logical system name.

Reason and Prerequisites
- You carried out a client copy on a BW source system, and now you want to use this client again as the source client of one (or several) BW systems.
- You read Note 325525.
Solution
- If you want to rename the target client, then execute Transaction BDLS. Read Notes 369758 and 121163 for more information. Ensure that you select the (non-default) option "Conversion of client-specific tables (for example after a client copy)". You must never convert client- independent tables under any circumstances! If you cannot select this option, you are using an obsolete version of Transaction BDLS. Use the current patch for the transaction.
- For BW as of 2.0A: Execute the "Restore" function in the context menu of the source system in the source system tree of the Administrator Workbench of the corresponding BW.
